How To Join Our Club:
1. First, become a member of Academy of Model Aeronautics www.modelaircraft.org. The membership fee is $75. Under 19 is free
2. Then contact a club member or officer for an application or see our website http://www.tristatemodelflyers.com. The membership fee is $72.
A Student Pilot without an AMA membership will be able to fly for a grace period of 30 days, only using a buddy box and under the direct supervision of a flight instructor. After the grace period, a Student Pilot must join the AMA and the TSMF club. A club member in good standing may host a guest pilot with AMA at the TSMF club for 3 visits per lifetime. Club member sponsoring guest pilot must be present during flying.
